A Spring breeze touches, reaches me on her way through the city
As she passes the sun quickly restores her warmth over me
A change is afoot, she brings a new season and so much more

My belly stretches and grows, my skin pulls tight across my ribs
With every breath I feel the sweet hug of creation
Growing, living and beginning

There is a beautiful being inside me and I know not her name
Yet she's been named in my heart forever
She's lived in my daydreams, her creation has been planned before time

And here we are, eating, breathing, and living together
I was once one and now we are two
My heart beating for the both of us

Every desire turned to meet her needs, all thoughts includes our tiny third
She may not yet have a voice in our world but we carry her in every step
Selfishness becomes selflessness willingly, freely, and lovingly

Our love for her deepens with each bump, kick, and tickle from my womb
My eyes see her and I in our new life together
Her little fingers and toes and kisses wrapped around mine

She'll bring her joyful heart into our world, we'll never be the same
It's change and it's changing still, this new season we gratefully welcome
Along with her little spirit and all that comes with her

We are ready to be in love all over again

Well it's the 2nd trimester and I am feeling GREAT! I am in the middle of the 5th month of pregnancy. While I was on vacation with my mom (3 generations in the Bahamas together) I felt the baby kick for the first time! I have been feeling little fetal movements every now and then, but this was definately a, "Hello Mom I'm here" kick. We were walking down the hallway laughing and talking and I felt a "bam" right towards my belly button. It surprised me so much I squealed & jumped back a foot! Then I felt it again! How amazing. Ever since that day I've been feeling our baby flutter around my belly and it is remarkable, a constant tickle up and down my side. I am going to post up some pictures of my growing belly...

Well, Jenna is in the Bahamas right now with her mom on a "babymoon." The last long vacation before the baby comes! So being the amazing husband I am, I'm setting up this Baby Blog so we can post pictures and tell you what's happening with us as Aug 18 comes and goes.

We will update probably a few times a month - and definitely around the 11th of each month. That's when the month changes over for us...so in two days, Jenna will be a full 5 months prego!
