Time is flying by, and I have forgotten to Blog! Lily is now 8 weeks old about to hit her 2 month mark. She is smiling and cooing more and more, I can have a conversation with her and she'll blush and gurgle back. It melts my heart every time. She has also discovered more about her hands, she stares at them and pokes herself in the face trying to figure out where they are. She is on a great daytime routine, but we are still figuring out her evenings. She has accomplished a lot by sleeping 5 to 6 hours straight a night, which has been great for me! (we owe it all to the book called "Preparation for Parenting" - Thanks Eric & Britt) We love watching our little pumpkin grow...she's developing her second baby chin and some seriously kissable cheeks. Her eyes are still quite blue and she loves looking around the room. She's a social girl, I can already tell. However when we have visitors, it takes her a minute to get used to the change. Soon enough she's quite snuggly in a loved ones arms.

It's October and Little Lily has been in our lives for six weeks! She is starting to smile a lot & coo with her tiny voice when we talk to her. She is too cute for words...here are some pictures of her from this week. Motherhood is going well now. Though every day has it's ups and downs, I find myself loving and caring and worrying about her more than anything or anyone. She has most definately captured my heart.
