Christmas is fastly apporaching, and we celebrated by going to the Cincinnati Zoo Festival of Lights. Lily loved them, she was alert and bright eyed the whole time as we carried her around the park. We felt like a little family, and realized how blessed we are and how much we have to celebrate this year! Not only because it's Lily Joy's very first Christmas...but because of all God has given us. He is, the reason for the season, and in all the shopping and food and decorations and fun...it's important for us to recognize that Christmas...is about God's love. When I look down at little Lily's face as she nurses, I can't help but think about Mary. And how she looked at her sweet baby boy...knowing that he was the son of God. Knowing, that he was God's love in human form. And my heart reels trying to put myself in her place...I am reminded of all we've forgotten...but of all we have to gain when we remember the true story of Christmas. From our family to yours, Merry Christmas & God Bless!

Hi All! Tis the season to be Jolly...and Blog!
We had a nice Thanksgiving in Putnam County & Bowling Green! We love BGSU...and so does Lily. She has the tshirt and socks to prove it. The Schroeder family is doing well...Eric's learning a lot at his job, and I've been able to substitute teach (dance) here and there when a teacher gets sick. Also, I just got certified to teach Zumba! Which I am really excited about. Of course, a lot happened in the same week and now I've got a cold. Never fear...it's ending soon so that we can enjoy Christmas time.
Lily has grown so much! I am amazed to see her develop. She is laughing a little bit, she can follow us around the room with her eyes, her hands discovered each other so that now she can put BOTH of them into her mouth...and her greatest feat...we have seen her roll onto her side (back to side)! She's getting bigger and cuter every second. We'll attach pictures soon.
