Thoughts of You

Kicking, Rolling, Moving
Little spirit in my belly almost out of room
That's how I see you

Kindest heart and sparkled eyes
Soft brown hair tendrly tucked behind the tiniest of ears
I see you

Smiles and gurgles, dimpled and delicious
You are strong and sweet with hands wrapped around mine
Soon I'll see you

In our family lovingly joined
so small, so important
I can't wait to see you

Precious in every way
we welcome you our gentle son
we welcome you

We have Great news! My sister and her husband have heard the status on their adoption process and are finally going to be able to get their baby GIRL in Viet Nam in just 2 weeks! Mai Ly Campbell Oates is 5 months old and we will be meeting our little niece very soon- we are so excited!
Lily's 1st Birthday party is this weekend, and I can't believe it! She has developed quite the personality and talks all day long! Though i don't know what she's saying, it sounds very important. Her vocabulary so far is, "ma ma" , "ball", "uh" in uh oh, and "me me me." She also says "ah" when we go outside through the garage- either for the echo or because she knows she's going out but we aren't sure yet. She is pulling up to stand a bit now, she can play throw or push a ball back and forth, she learned to open cabinets and has now started to love to cuddle with soft blankets, pillows or stuffys. Sometimes it calms her down so quick, though she isn't attached to a single one, it's pretty cute how she snuggles up to anything soft. We've switched her to milk now, she's dropped a nap I think, she still doesn't eat vegetables - she squishes peas just for fun, and now we are going to slowly go from bottles to sippy cups. She can drink out of sippy cup a little bit, but sometimes needs help. That's all for Lily's world...she's really fun to be around and delivers speeches to me quite often!
At my last dr appointment we found out that our baby boy is 4 pounds and 15 oz and so he'll probably weigh around 7 when he is born- perfect. He is in the head down position and is healthy as can be, we are so thankful to have a healthy pregnancy. He is still VERY active and I can feel all of his joints in my ribs and hips all the time. My mom visited and sewed together and entire nursery set for him, it is WONDERFUL. We put his room together yesterday, we went with light green and blue and I intend to do a nature type theme. I love spending time in his room, it makes me so excited for his arrival. Eric is very busy working on our home for Lily's bday bash. All is well in the Schroeder household!
