At 6 Months Old, Lily has grown and developed and is still the cutest baby I have ever known! And yes I know all mom's think that about their own kids but seriously, I just gush over her 2 teeth smiles and gurgles and noises. Let's see, at her 6 month check up she was 26 inches long & 16 pounds. She is in the 50% as far as growth rates go, and that's great. Just a little tall and a little light for her age (like her daddy). She finally ate something other than a bottle for the first time! I've tried rice cereal repeatedly and she gags on it giving me this look of disgust! So even after trying mixing it with frut which didn't work either, I moved on to veggies. After 3 days in a row of trying to sneak a baby spoonful of carrots in her mouth, on the 3rd day she opened up for it! SUCCESS! MY VICTORY AS A MOMMY! So far carrots is all she's taken (and most ends up on her face anyways). Our latest breaking Lily news is that she has a third tooth coming in! It has made a few day and nights hard for her to sleep, but over all she's doing well...truly it looks painful so I have to have grace on her when she whines a lot.
It's her top right, all by itself...snaggle tooth...but her other two discount her as a complete snaggle tooth. This morning I finally got her to crack up and giggle uncontrollably, I think it was the sweetest sound I ever heard.
